Jeffersonville Branch Library will be hosting a Super Hero Camp to kick off their “Every Hero Has A Story” theme for the Summer Reading Program which begins Monday, June 1.
 

NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Shelley Shepard Gray will pay us a visit! Shelley is a popular author of Christian/Amish Fiction. She will read from her new book, The Proposal at Siesta Key, just published on May 12, and discuss her Amish Pinecraft series.

We're going on a scavenger hunt at the museum! Visit one of the grandest homes in our downtown and learn about our local history. Who was the Sharpe family?  Visit the “birds nest” and get the best view of downtown. Ask about the noose!!

Let's learn all about  the Fayette County EMS! We'll tour the facility, examine medical equipment and get an opportunity to look around an ambulance! The men and women who provide the "Emergency Medical Services" are our local heroes. Let's find out what they do!
 
 

Preview Day: $2.00 admittance

The book sale will be held in the library meeting room. Customers may enter through the East Street entrance. The American Association of University Women help with this sale and use half the proceeds for their scholarship fund. The library uses the remainder for new items.

Join Evelyn Pentzer, Clerk of Courts for Fayette County and learn all about the history of this magnificent building. A “must see” on the tour are the famous murals by Archibald Willis. Why are there bullet holes in the front door? Learn a little local history and if we are lucky we’ll be able to visit the Court Room and meet either Judge Beatherd or Judge Bender.

Join local artist Bev Mullen, and learn how to create simple cartoons from basic shapes. We’ll make dogs, fish, birds, bats, bears, pigs, a book worm, rabbits, penguins and even a self-portrait!
