Meet Ms. Raina and Park Ranger Elizabeth in the garden on Mondays at 10 am to weed, water, and enjoy a popsicle. For kids of all ages. 

 6/3 – Whose Tracks Are Those? After learning about animal tracks with Park Ranger Elizabeth, use your new skills to find out who has been hanging out in the Carnegie Library Garden!

6/10 - After working in the garden, we will be creating homemade Chia pets out of pantyhose, potting soil, grass seed, and some craft supplies with Ms. Raina.

6/17 - After working in the garden, we will be doing a “Nature Scavenger Hunt!” Nature items and clues will be hidden in the children’s department. Walk around to find them all with Ms. Raina.

6/24 – Birds of a Feather: Take home your own peacock feather and discover what makes different bird feathers special, with a park ranger!

7/1 – Fourth of July, Tie-Dye in the Garden: Dye your own item in patriotic colors for this Fourth of July! Materials are provided in limited numbers.

7/8 - Help us weed and water. Popsicles and produce for all who help!

7/22 – Earth Day is Every Day: Make and color your own binoculars and use them in the garden to identify plants, insects, and whatever else catches your eye with Park Ranger Elizabeth!
