Note: the Library can not provide electricity or any maintenance to the entries. Can you build the best gingerbread house in Fayette County? This year, the Carnegie Public Library will showcase your Gingerbread House Creations! We have four categories: adult, teen, family, or child. Design and build your sweet holiday house. Vote on your favorite in each category December 5th—December 10th.Winners will be selected by popular vote and will receive a fun holiday prize! Invite friends and families to come in and vote for your masterpiece, but only one vote per category! The winners will be announced on Saturday, December 12th.

Hours & Closings Follow Us Adult: Holiday Gift Wrapping Station Weekly Story Times & Events Need space away from prying eyes to wrap holiday gifts? Utilize our holiday gift wrapping station. The Carnegie Public Library will be having a “self service” gift wrapping station set up for people to come in and wrap their gifts for the holidays. The Carnegie Public Library will offer gift wrapping sessions: Thursday, Dec. 15 | 2:00-6:00 pm Friday, Dec. 16 | 12:00-6:00 pm Saturday, Dec. 17 | 10:00-2:00 pm Stop by during these special hours to wrap your holiday gifts while listening to seasonal music in our meeting room. The library will supply paper, tape, glue and scissors. Or bring your own. Please wrap on site. This is a drop-in activity, registration is not required. Not only is it a great way to get all your wrapping done at one time without interruptions, but it is also absolutely free.
