Carnegie Public Library Newsletter February 2024 Adult Events Valentine Station Drop in until Friday, February 9 Location: Adult Department Beginning Tuesday, January 16, through Friday, February 9, stop in and create a Valentine’s Day card to show some love to local long-term care residents! Cards will then be delivered for Valentine’s Day. Crafternoon Saturday, February 3 | 11:00 am Location: Adult Department Looking for something to do during these cold winter months? Bring your own craft project to work on while mingling with other local crafters! Some craft supplies, including our sewing machine, will be available for use during Crafternoon. 6th Annual Adult Spelling Bee Friday, February 9 | 6:00 pm Location: Adena Fayette Medical Center Medical Arts Building 2 Conference Room 1510 Columbus Ave, WCH Calling all word nerds! Put your spelling skills to the test at our 6th Annual Adult Spelling Bee. Compete as an individual or as a representative from your workplace or organization. All About Self-Esteem Tuesday, February 27 | 11:00 am Location: Meeting Room Join Tristin from Adena Fayette Medical Center’s Senior Life Solutions program for a presentation about selfesteem to improve the mental health of seniors. We will discuss what self-esteem is, coping skills to improve it, self-care, and building support systems. Information will also be provided for the Senior Life Solutions program.
